Takeya
November 15, 2020
Takeya, a brand we have shot for in the past, came to us in April of this year with a need to not only shoot, but update their brand visuals almost from the ground up. Having for years looked for ways to keep shoots incredibly affordable, they were ready to invest more into the process to raise the bar and more effectively speak with their athletic user demographic with strong Southern California vibes. We began a rigorous process of reviewing where they had been and set goals for where they wanted to go, while leaving room for exploration. We discussed their desired voice and reach and then planned a project right in the thick of Covid. There are many challenges a commercial production faces in the best of times and we viewed Covid as just another element to plan for and around. When possible we cast real families or friend groups who had already been sheltering together and felt comfortable being in close proximity without masks, while we, the client and crew, all practiced full Covid safety protocols. In the end, it wasn’t that huge of a hurdle and we produced an amazing shoot with on target results and are already in production for the next project this fall.
